Debut author gives a new meaning to the phrase "Love, Sex and Rock and Roll" in her new erotic romance novel.

Olivia Cunning’s first, but certainly not last, erotic romance novel is sure to hit stores and sell quickly. Using a fresh literary prose that is unique and entertaining, it is apparent that the author has most definitely found her writer’s voice in her new series; Sinners on Tour. Appropriate only for the over 21 crowd, Backstage Pass (Sourcebooks Inc. – Release Date Oct, 2010) brings the rock star legacy to life in an entirely new way.

Sinners – The Fictional Rock Band of Olivia Cunning's Sinners on Tour Series

Groupies fight and claw their way to rock stars, all in the hopes of making it to their sacred (and often used) bedroom. The rock stars of Sinners are no different. The five guys who make up the band are all deadly gorgeous and have the right kind of talent and looks to make the girls swoon, literally. They live the high life of rock stars and love it. Readers will enjoy this inside look at the true rock stars behind the scenes and experience the pain and loneliness that comes with the rich and famous persona.

The characters are so easy to love (for the most part) that readers will be eager to get their hands on the next installment of the series Rock Hard that is set for release in April 2011.

Romance Fiction vs. Erotic Fiction in Backstage Pass

The difference between romance fiction and erotic fiction is painstakingly clear within the first few pages of this extremely provocative novel. Those who prefer romance novels with little to no sex scenes should steer clear of this story, but those readers who like a little more oomph amidst the pages will count this book as one of their new favorites.

Due to the incredibly frequent love scenes, the plot of the story is a little slow in coming; which can be a curse for many an erotic romance novel. However, Olivia Cunning manages to pull of an enthralling story by books end that will leave readers well satisfied with the storyline and looking forward to more.

Characters in Backstage Pass by Olivia Cunning

Entirely irresistible; the only two words needed to describe the captivating characters that come to life in Backstage Pass. The lead songwriter and guitarist for the band; Brian “Master” Sinclair is a heart-throb of a musician that adequately captures the heart of his leading lady. The lady in question; a sex psychologist named Myrna Evans, is just the right kind of girl for a singer who needs a sex-driven muse.

The way Myrna is accepted into a tour bus full of testosterone laden men is true to the characters likeable personalities. The band members rally around their buddy’s muse, even when they try to take her for themselves, which makes for interesting reading and excellent twists. Readers will wonder what things may lead to; a group of guys and one sex professor, you know things are bound to happen.

Praise for Backstage Pass by Olivia Cunning

Brian is such a hopeless romantic, and Myrna an anti-romantic, that the dialogue between the two protagonists is entertaining to say the least. Not to mention the humorous and always laughable dialogue between the band members. A bunch of guys who live together more often than not, have known each other for years, and love each other more than anyone else are sure to have some interesting words between them. The pranks, the wisecracks, and the sentimental defenses will have readers treating these characters as if they were friends and feeling for them as if they were family. Which is an excellent detail for a new author breaking into the writing industry.
